Backflow Training Associates (BTA) offers an assortment of classes approved by the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) for becoming a licensed backflow prevention assembly tester (BPAT) and to earn the continuing education credits required for license renewal. These classes are held in the Houston area. BTA staff has numerous years of experience in the backflow industry. Our primary goal is to train the best backflow technicians in the business. We offer comprehensive courses and hands-on training carefully designed to prepare novice testers for real life testing experiences, as well as to fine tune the skills of seasoned testers. All our classes have been reviewed and approved by TCEQ. BTA's expansive wet lab features numerous makes and models of backflow assemblies. Our students have ample opportunity to practice their testing ability, as well as to troubleshoot, on multiple malfunctioning backflow preventers. We also provide an assortment of test gauges for student use during class, which helps them to later determine which one they will want to purchase for their business. Most classes are conducted in the classroom at our office in Spring, Texas. However, throughout the year we conduct classes at various other locations. For information about scheduling a special class for your group of 12 or more contact our office. At BTA we work hard to make our classes informative and interesting.
